Tackling dry skin in the winter.
Winter. The season of hot coco and warm fires in the fireplace and as nice as it sounds winter is actually really harsh on our skin and can be very problematic for those women who have sensitive skin.
As women it can not be said enough that we need to keep our skin safe in the winter. The more the skin the more it can crack, split, get itchy and more. Keeping skin moister locked in our skin can be really difficult especially if you do a lot of work with your hands or work in a field where your skin is exposed to toxins that suck out the moister from your skin.
A few keys to help keep your skin feeling soft and smooth is make sure you have a lotion or even a essential oil that has moisturizing properties to help keep your skins natural barrier strong and nourished. If you work with your hands a lot if possible put your lotion on and put gloves over that to help lock in the moisturizer and keep your hands from getting dry and possibly cracked.
At night is when the wind and cold can really be tough on your skin so help rejuvenate your skin from that long hard night or day is to take a warm/hot bath and put a few drops of essential oil(s) into your bath not only will it help your achy joints and muscles it will also help replenish your skins natural barriers and help moisturize your skin so when you get out your skin feels soft and not tight or itchy anymore.
